Yesterday I saw this post on www.linkedinc.om stating that

Thapar is losing its prestigious status!

I think this statement seems somewhat true. The person Mr. Anil  had read one of the recent articles/ranking published in Dataquest. He said that he is not a huge fan of these ranking but there are two key points (about Thapar) mentioned in these ranking which bother me:
1) Poor HR perception
2) Adminstrative Issues.

Moreover it was written that ARO (Alumni Relation Office) will have to take extra measures and technology to improve upon its alumni relations and also college should look upon its loosing prestigious status which it had in the earlier time.

Another issue which was hiked in the discussion was that of the hike in fees of Thapar because of which students of extraordinary calibers are not taking admission in such a College like Thapar.

I would like all my friends of Thapar or even in rest of world to kindly share their views about what as students and college as administartion can do to protect and safeguard its prestigious status.

Hello everyone,
Till some time back, the current students of the university like
me would usually feel that the Alumni is not concerned about what happens to the
institute. But, from this post, i feel that the Alumni is interested. It feels
great to know that people are willing to put in an effort for the betterment of
this institution that has helped them and us reach the height that they have(
and we will) reach.
I just hope that this fire that has been ignited does not
die out in vain and some steps are taken in the right
direction...

-Regards
